Since doubt prevents one from engaging in karma-yoga and obtaining knowledge (see text 40), one should remove the tumor of doubt with the scalpel of knowledge received from the wise (see text 34). One can then engage in karma-yoga, renouncing selfish desires, and thus become self-realized and free from all reactions.
