In the previous text Krishna said that wisdom purifies one’s action of all sin. Here he goes a step further, saying that wisdom, by allowing one to act on a spiritual platform, purifies every reaction, not only the sinful ones, just as a blazing fire consumes wood completely and leaves only impotent ashes.
