Again returning to the theme of the section ("Is one specific activity better than others, more suited to freedom from reaction?") Krishna repeats that all sacrificial actions are good.
Karma-ja - Born from karma
One may question, "Why so many different paths? Why not simplify everything by making a single path for everyone?"
One might also ask of the pharmacist, "Why so many medicines? Why not make one that will cure everything?"
As there are many different diseases, each requiring a specialized treatment, so there are many different individuals. Each has his own habits, inclinations, and preferences. Therefore the Brahmans and the Vedas prescribe different paths for different individuals, depending on their inclination to work (karma-ja).
