Krishna mentions four categories of action that the enlightened perform as sacrifice:
- Dravya-yajna - Charity (Giving up objects, possessions)
- Tapo-yajna - Austerity (Giving up bodily comfort)
- Yoga-yajna - Yoga (Discipline of the mind)
- Svadyayajnana-yajna - Study (Educating the disciplined mind)
